Winter is on its way!

And so is Anita! :)
  • After spending a long winter in New zealand skiing in sunshine (while we've spent an even longer summer in rain in Voss) Anita is returning! Im picking her up at the airport on thursday and cant wait to hear stories... As you can see, Anita is bringin the winter to Voss. Get your downjackets and beenies out, and maybe wax your skis? Fingers crossed..
  • Not much is happening in Voss, but this weekend i went to the big city of Oslo.. Familyfunweekend with good food, lots of wine, tour of the sights in town (boring) and comedy show with a norwegian group called Raske Menn. (Fast Men) The show was GREAT, i just wished it could have lasted longer... After the show we had dinner at an italian restaurant:) Yummy!
  • Next highligt in my life will probably be the first snowball i send flying into someones head...

need to pee?

http://www.vg.no/nyheter/utrolige-historier/artikkel.php?artid=573830 for those of you not able to read norwegian: the story is about an aussie who found a three meter long pyton in his toilet.. . I am reconsidering my upcoming trip to Australia. I prefer to pee into places free of snakes and spiders!

PREGO PREGO PREGO per favore!!!!!!!

  • Italians are strange.. And extremely afraid of anyone not speeking italian. We have seen and met a bunch of characters during our five days in Milan. Sunny, hot summerdays in Milan in September. Well deserved, I think! Right now, im sitting on the couch with a bunch of clothes on and freezing! Its 14degrees outside. And raining. FufuFun! Funny to think that just 18 hours ago i was sitting in a taxi in shorts and singlet, sweating! Well, it is nice to get back... And extremely healthy for my bankaccount! :S
  • Funniest night must have been in the bar with the DJ/makeup artist who couldnt take a hint. Even after us telling him that we were 5 single mums/newly converted lesbians on a romantic holiday he still sat there. And the git didnt even have the courtesy to buy us drinks! .... "ai amme a makeupartiste. ai havve ai bjutifuuul work.. ai worke wit lancome" woop woop really cool. little less make up on yourself next time maybe? well, we had some laughs on his behalf... :)
  • I am not sure what we spent more money on... Clothes or great food and drinks.. italian gelato is the BEST! and risotto, panini, pasta, pizza, foccaccia! New thing on my to buy-list: italian cookbook:) oh, just remembered the one place we had lunch. It was not far away from the big fancy shops at Piazza Duomo and quite busy. We had some salads and ciabattas, and after the food Cissi bought a coffee. The waiter gave us the bill together with the coffee, and the cheeky bastard almost took the money out of our hands before we had counted them. "Prego prego" We tried telling him to calm down, but he kept buzzing around us almost taking the chairs away from under us before cissi had finished her coffee. No tip for that guy... Incredibly annoying. Italians really need to take a chillout-pill!
  • Either that or a learn-english-pill! In almost all the shops we walked into, we were treated like ghosts! No eyecontact after we replied their CIAO with a wobbly ciao hello. You could see the fear in their eyes. "oh no, parlare inglese" WHAt to do? And if we asked them anything they replied in italian. again and again. Maybe they hoped that we magically would understand it the fourth time they said it.? well, i actually did, but dont tell the italians that. After learning english, german, and un petite french i must have picked up some handy words. So we mostly understood what they meant:)
  • well, i better stop soon. no time to say too much about the teenager with a hard-on in the queue for climbing. Or that one of us was mistaken for a prostitute.. Or the stubby short gay guy trying to trick us into a fake outlet. Pictueres are more fun!

Hei Hopp

  • This might be a shortterm project. But anyways: Nina got a blog.. A really different blog to write, cause ive decided to write in english. Need some practice.. So excuse me if the language is childish, but thats how I am :) and.. the things ive got to say might not be the most interesting..
  • well, got something that is really interesting for me and four others today.. we're off to milan in a couple of hours! girlstrip:) gonna enjoy wine in the sun, expensive shopping and laugh at all the italian prettyboys. we've packed all our sunlotion, summerdresses og counted how much kroners we can spend.
  • right now, im just sitting here and dreading the long drive from Voss to Sandefjord. And crossing my fingers that i did everything right with the online check-in. Thats Ryanair for you. Need to do everything in your own. Im ok with doing it, what annoyed the hell out of me was that the webpage kept giving me errormessages so what should have been 10minutes ended up being two frustrating hours which i could have spent sleeping!
  • luckily it gave me a break in the end. got all 10 boardingpasses printed out and lying in my backpack together with my passport:) and a mp3player with new batteries:) until later, CIAO!
