this is apparantly the signs that a bear has been there! they tear up old treetrunks in their search for bugs. whistler is bearcountry!

people are queing up for the skilift that might not open the next hour. skipatrol still up doing avalance-control! but fresh powder gets skied up in the time you blink your eye.
